Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer 3 to support federal programs. You will define, architect, and integrate complex security systems, coordinate across software, hardware, cybersecurity, and network teams, and guide stakeholders from concept to deployment.

Qualifications include 5+ years in systems engineering with a bachelor's, strong communication, and willingness to travel. Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3+ years with a Master's or PhD.
• Experience applying systems engineering practices to complex systems.
• Ability to develop or review architecture products and acquisition artifacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to brief complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Translate stakeholder needs into system concepts and designs.
• Develop and refine system architectures and interfaces.
• Lead system integration, testing, and verification activities.
• Manage backlog and coordinate with agile teams.
