Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Security Assembly Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will lead teams assembling enclosures, racks, and CCTV/IDS hardware, route cables, perform testing, QA/QC, and prep units for shipment to federal, local, and commercial sites. Successful candidates will read drawings, use hand and power tools, mentor junior techs, and work on high-growth security projects onsite.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities with experience guiding multiple projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints or assembly instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on assembly of enclosures, back panels, racks and carts.
• Route, terminate and test control/data cables; perform QC checks.
• Prepare materials, verify parts/asset data and document equipment information.
• Mentor subordinates and coordinate project schedules and staffing.
• Set up and train staff on CNC machines and ensure CNC file accuracy.
