Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Security Assembly Technician 3 to lead teams assembling equipment enclosures, racks and panels, wiring, and final QA/QC checks. You will route cables, kit materials, and manage project schedules while mentoring junior technicians.

Candidates should have extensive experience with mechanical/electrical installation, blueprints, and tool use. The role involves working on security systems projects for federal, local, and commercial customers with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience.
• Military mechanical, electrical, electronics training.
• Graduation from Electronics program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• 6+ years of mechanical/electrical installation experience on multiple systems.
• Strong use of hand and power tools; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on assembly projects for enclosures, racks, and panels.
• Kitting, routing, terminating cables, and final QA‑QC checks.
• Mentor subordinates and supervise multiple projects.
• Set up and operate CNC machines; verify files and accuracy.
• Document equipment model/serial/asset information and project updates.
