Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

The role includes assembling, wiring, and testing components for federal, local, and commercial customers. You will follow engineering docs, prepare parts for shipping, and maintain accurate task progress within company systems. The position emphasizes working at height, following safety plans, and contributing to ongoing assembly and integration projects in a dynamic engineering

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet and climb ladders or scaffolds
• English language ability and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment, devices, and components for shipping.
• Reads, interprets, and follows fabrication documents, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
• Assembles equipment racks, enclosures, back panels, and components.
• Routes, secures, and terminates basic copper cables and assemblies.
