Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role focuses on on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, and video surveillance for federal, local, and commercial clients. You will work within a team to ensure reliable operation, adhere to safety plans, and participate in commissioning activities while coordinating with owners

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or related apprenticeship.
• An additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Maintains safety plans, participates in quality reviews, and tracks project metrics.
