Job summary

M.C. Dean, Building Intelligence, seeks a Security Assembly Technician 3 to lead assembly teams for security systems, including enclosures, panels, racks, and CCTV/electronic security equipment. You will route cables, verify documentation, and support QA/QC across multiple projects.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/electrical/electronic installation, reading blueprints, and mentoring junior techs, with a focus on safe, efficient assembly and collaboration with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Military mechanical, electrical, electronics training.
• Graduation from Electronics program or Electrical Apprenticeship or 2 more years in mechanical/electrical/electronics installation or maintenance.
• 6+ years of mechanical, electrical, electronic installation/maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong background in use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints or assembly instructions.
• Team environment adaptability.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• MS Excel/Word a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on assembly projects from enclosures to racks and panels.
• Route, terminate, and document control and data cables.
• Kitting and QA/QC of finished products.
• Mentor/subordinate technicians and coordinate schedules.
• Set up and operate CNC machinery and train others.
