Job summary

Jazz is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering, guiding customers through technical evaluation and showcasing how Jazz solves real security problems. This role blends deep technical knowledge with customer engagement in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales engineering, security engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Experience with vulnerability management, cloud security, or risk platforms.
• Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerabilities, and threat exposure.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience running technical demos and PoCs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable in a startup with evolving priorities.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanners (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Knowledge of attack surface management or exposure/risk prioritization.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to support the technical aspects of the sales process.
• Deliver technical product demonstrations tailored to customer environments and security challenges.
• Lead proof-of-concept engagements with prospective customers.
• Translate customer security problems into clear technical solutions using the Jazz platform.
• Act as a trusted advisor to security leaders and practitioners.
• Provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Support RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical documentation.
• Help develop demo environments, technical assets, and enablement materials.
• Stay current on security trends, vulnerability management, and risk prioritization.
