Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our team in the United States. The role involves working with end users to define daily activities, provide operation support for Fortinet products, and develop procedures for migrations and upgrades.

The position requires 7+ years in LAN/WAN and network security, plus 2+ years with Fortinet products. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with willingness to travel as needed, are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN / Internet consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years working with Network Security Products.
• 2+ years experience with Fortinet products.
• Solid understanding of security and networking principles and technologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with day-to-day Fortinet products operation/support.
• Develop methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates.
• Develop test plans and test new features/releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products.
• Training and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies.
• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
