Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a seasoned security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and build actionable intelligence. You will join the Technical Analysis Cell and work on reverse engineering, tooling, and threat attribution with a focus on defensive outcomes.

Remote position with occasional travel, collaboration across teams, and opportunities to influence detection and mitigation strategies through high-quality reporting and signatures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in user-space and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and at least two OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong reverse engineering skills and tooling experience.
• Ability to program in Python and leverage AI-assisted tools.
• Excellent writing skills for technical reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for cross-team adversary tracking based on exploits.
• Improve capabilities to detect exploits, payloads, and attack vectors.
• Identify opportunities to increase threat visibility from new data sources.
• Reverse engineer to maintain understanding of exploit internals.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis tasks.
• Create classification frameworks for intrusion activity attribution.
• Contribute to active mitigation with technical expertise.
• Develop host- and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting.
