Job summary

Amazon in Richmond, VA is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead End-to-End SLP services across assigned operations. You will identify vulnerabilities, analyze data, and drive risk-mitigation actions while ensuring legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.
• Experience implementing metric-based strategies using continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department’s liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert keeping site leadership informed on department’s key issues, strategies and the performance.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices while partnering with internal customers to evaluate security needs and incident response planning.
