Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Security Service Sr. Technician to independently service and maintain intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems. You will diagnose issues, verify system functionality, and ensure compliance with codes and customer requirements.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and flexibility to travel to job sites. Licenses such as FAL and Texas Security are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in fire and life safety industry as a technician.
• Licenses preferred: FAL and Texas Security license.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems.
• Diagnose system issues and complete corrective actions in a timely and professional manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals.
• Travel to job sites as required.
