Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Security and Fire Alarm Service Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm and security systems. You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on-site support to clients.

Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, documenting work, and communicating job status to customers. A valid Texas FAL and Security license, along with a clean driving record, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with fire alarm and security systems.
• Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
• Texas Security License required.
• New Mexico fire alarm and security licenses are a plus.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair security and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document work and communicate status to customers and management.
• Conduct site surveys and keep system documentation up to date.
• Operate tools and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.
