Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Tech Specialist 4 in its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role covers design, integration, operation, and maintenance of electronic security services including access control, intrusion detection, and video systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The candidate will analyze performance, support system admins, train users, document findings, and travel as needed. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Clearance/Citizen Type: government security investigation; TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• System administrator experience in triage, resolving problems, and extending workstations.
• Vendor certifications for electronic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide support to the system administration and engineering team.
• Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and system administrators.
• Train system users and other system support personnel.
• Analyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changes.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Organize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance.
• Perform desktop hardware and operating system setup, imaging software loading, and antivirus updates.
• Interface with engineering team to ensure design efficiency.
• Provide on site system support post deployment and read blueprints/SOW.
