Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an ESS Technology Specialist 4 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

The role covers design, integration, operation and maintenance of electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance and IT systems for diverse clients. Candidate must hold ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI, and be willing to travel up to 50% for field assignments and customer support across federal,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 12+ years of experience in install, troubleshoot, or test electronic security systems
• Associates with 10+ years of experience or Bachelor’s with 7+ years of experience or Master’s with 5+ years of experience
• System administrator experience including triage and problem resolution, plus workstation deployment
• Vendor certifications for electronic systems are preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
• Provide on-site system support post deployment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, SOPs, and SOWs
• Coordinate with field personnel and engineering team to discuss installation issues
• Perform basic configuration of IT technologies (storage, routing/switching)
• Conduct research and development of entire systems and interoperability scenarios
