Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Tech Specialist 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems group. The role spans design, integration, operation, and maintenance of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

You will analyze performance, support engineering teams, and interact with customers and vendors. Responsibilities include on-site support post deployment, interpreting drawings, and contributing to continuous improvement of security

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and testing electronic security systems.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide support to system administration and engineering teams.
• Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and system administrators.
• Train system users and other support personnel.
• Document system performance and service records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
• Set up desktop hardware and OS, imaging software, and antivirus updates.
• Review research and evaluate Technical Specialists' work for current and future systems.
• Provide on-site system support post deployment and read engineering drawings.
• Ensure SOP and SOW documentation is understood and followed.
