Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leading security and engineered systems provider in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Tech Specialist 6 to join the SES unit. You will analyze performance, support engineering teams, and train personnel across electronic security services, including access control, intrusion detection, and video systems.

Required active TS/SCI with poly, extensive field experience, and ability to travel. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to lead technically complex deployments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with POLY is REQUIRED for access to classified information.
• Strong knowledge of system administration and networking concepts.
• Ability to read blueprints, SOWs, and engineering drawings.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide on-site support and interface with engineering teams.
• Train system users and support personnel on security systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and statements of work.
• Coordinate with field personnel to resolve installation issues.
• Document system performance and service requests in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues in complex environments.
• Develop research on new security systems and interoperability scenarios.
