Qualifications

• Six years of full-time experience in a protection or security program, with at least eighteen months in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity, or supervising security personnel.
• Experience in administrative, managerial, or supervisory roles for at least 18 months.
• Knowledge of NYS Penal Law, NYS Criminal Procedure Law and current arrest procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of field security forces, including direct supervision of Lieutenants and Captains overseeing Sergeants and Patrol Officers.
• Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate performance and effectiveness of security personnel.
• Direct investigations of incidents and assess security risks with timely reporting.
• Set goals and priorities for security maintenance and deterrence of incidents.
• Advise senior leadership on security issues and prepare regular reports with improvement recommendations.
• Assist in determining personnel needs and ensure proper scheduling and deployment of security staff.
• Serve as liaison to NYPD and other law enforcement agencies.
