Job summary

People Inc. in New York, NY seeks a Security Operations Supervisor to lead daily enterprise security operations in a hands-on, uniformed role.

You will coordinate reception, patrols, events, and contracted staff, ensuring post orders and service standards are met while working closely with GSOC and executives. The ideal candidate has five+ years in security leadership, strong communication skills, and expertise in access control, CCTV, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible security experience.
• Demonstrated leadership directing personnel/operations.
• Hands-on, uniformed operational leadership preferred.
• Sound judgment under pressure and decisive decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership alongside security personnel.
• Coordinate reception, patrols, events, and security resources.
• Ensure post orders and service standards are followed; inspect operations.
• Direct field response during incidents; coordinate with GSOC and law enforcement.
• Assist GSOC with daily operations and major incidents.
• Support access control, visitor management, CCTV, and alarm response.
