Job summary

Compass is seeking a security-focused engineer to protect our end-to-end real estate platform, spanning endpoint management, identity, AI security, and IaC. Your work will help secure assets and data at scale across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on Terraform, GitOps practices, and security tooling across macOS, Windows, and Linux, with strong communication for a distributed, all-remote workforce. This role partners with Security leadership and development teams.

Qualifications

• Deep practical experience in endpoint management, identity, AI security, or IaC.
• Strong desire to learn the rest and grow with Compass.
• Experience solving complex security challenges.
• Ability to communicate security concepts across a distributed, all-remote workforce.

Responsibilities

• Secure Safe-by-Default environments across enterprise tech.
• Modernize endpoint management and security architectures across platforms.
• Drive GitOps and IaC workflows with Terraform and CI pipelines.
• Automate lifecycle security including deployment, patching, and software distribution.
• Assess third-party and AI risk for enterprise systems.
• Partner on detection and response with IR teams.
• Iterate security controls to support growth and new markets.
