Job summary

Compass is building a modern, end-to-end real estate platform and seeks a Security engineer to fortify endpoint management, IaC, and AI security across macOS, iOS, Windows, and Linux ecosystems. You will apply threat modeling, compliance, and automation to scale security for a rapidly growing agent population while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to secure guardrails for Model Context Protocol, MCP servers, and cloud identity controls, while guiding development

Qualifications

• Empathetic & security-focused approach to problem solving.
• Clear communicator of vulnerabilities and remediation techniques (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, SMTP, DNS).
• Automation-first mindset with scripting/programming proficiency (Python or Go).
• Infrastructure-as-Code expertise with Terraform and GitOps.
• Endpoint & systems expertise in managing Mac, Windows, Linux devices.
• SaaS & identity controls for cloud providers (Okta, Google Workspace, LDAP).
• Threat modeling collaboration and hands-on security design.
• Security leadership to guide development teams.

Responsibilities

• Secure enterprise technologies and SaaS applications by default.
• Strengthen endpoint security architecture and automate deployments.
• Manage endpoint configurations and security through Terraform and CI pipelines.
• Design automation for secure deployment, patching, and software distribution.
• Govern AI guardrails, MCP server management, and risk assessments.
• Evaluate third-party and AI risks within the enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with Detection & Response on incident workflows and BEC defenses.
• Continually improve security controls and tooling for rapid agent growth.
