Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years
• 5+ years of Security Engineering experience
• Experience with US Federal government in security engineering
• Familiar with NIST 800-53 controls
• Familiar with NIST 800-171 protections
• Strong CI/CD security background
• Knowledge of networking security controls
• Understanding endpoint security
• Knowledge of Zero Trust concepts
• Experience with vulnerability management
• Cloud security in AWS/Azure
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on Information Security solutions and integration
• Lead or contribute to security projects and mentor engineers
• Implement and maintain Information Security solutions following best practices
• Coordinate enterprise projects and align resources across teams
• Prioritize program elements based on risk and objectives
• Advise on security controls across cloud, network and endpoints
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis and remediation tracking
• Advise on SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability tools
• Collaborate with admins, network engineers and CI/CD teams
• Develop and maintain security documentation and policies
• Recommend improvements to security posture and compliance
• Support Zero Trust and cloud security best practices
• Review proposals for technical compliance
• Act as ISO stakeholder in risk and assurance
• Communicate initiatives and security considerations to ISO leadership
