Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Security Engineering experience.
• Experience with US Federal government security engineering.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53/800-171.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and guide Information Security solutions.
• Lead or contribute to information security projects and provide technical leadership.
• Implement, configure, and maintain Information Security solutions.
• Coordinate enterprise project-level work and align resources across teams.
• Prioritize program elements based on risk and objectives.
• Advise on security controls across cloud, network, and endpoint environments.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Advise on SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Collaborate with system admins, network engineers, and CI/CD engineers on security risks.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and system security plans.
• Support Zero Trust, secure configuration management, and cloud security best practices.
• Review proposals to ensure technical compliance.
• Act as ISO stakeholder in Enterprise Risk and Assurance.
• Communicate security initiatives and designs to ISO leadership.
