Job summary

Convergint Technologies in Boise, Idaho is seeking a dedicated full-time Security Technician to install, program, and maintain a variety of security systems. Responsibilities include providing excellent technical support and customer service while ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; advanced math skills.
• Certification in Genetec, Lenel, Softwarehouse, Avigilon, or other enterprise-level systems.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services security systems.
• Acts as key interface for technical support and maximizes customer satisfaction.
• Executes all technical aspects of multiple projects with varying timelines and budgets.
