Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician in Boise, Idaho. Your responsibilities will include installing and servicing security, fire alarm, and building automation systems, ensuring customer satisfaction, and acting as a key technical support interface. Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Certification in Genetec, Lenel, Softwarehouse, or Avigilon is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service security systems.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and diagrams.
• Act as the key interface for technical support with customers.
• Mentor and train less experienced staff.
