Terrestrial Energy, a US developer of advanced, Generation IV nuclear reactors, is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager for its Charlotte headquarters. The role oversees consolidated filings, ensures accuracy with auditors, and maintains SOX-compliant processes while addressing complex U.S.

GAAP issues. Ideal candidates bring deep SEC reporting experience at public companies, strong writing skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of total experience in accounting or finance.
• 2+ years in an SEC reporting or technical accounting role at a public company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, coordination, and filing of consolidated quarterly and annual reports (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.).
• Coordinate with internal legal and external auditors to ensure accuracy of public filings.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and tie-outs.
• Research and interpret complex accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines.
• Draft and maintain memos/whitepapers on complex transactions (stock-based comp, leases, business combos).
