Energy Talent Search is collaborting with a growing tech/manufacturing company in the South Denver area seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to own SEC reporting and lead external disclosures.

You’ll work directly with leadership and auditors, ensuring audit-ready statements and tight reporting controls. Candidates must have CPA, direct SEC experience, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge in a public company setting.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Direct SEC reporting experience required.
• Public accounting background strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead external reporting process across reporting cycles.
• Prepare financial statements and disclosures that are audit-ready.
• Act as the internal resource on technical accounting matters as they arise.
• Work directly with external auditors and help drive timelines.
• Support key business activity (equity, transactions, and other non-routine items).
• Interpret new accounting guidance and apply what’s relevant.
• Improve reporting processes and tighten overall structure.
