Job summary

RGP in Charlotte is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support external financial reporting for a publicly traded manufacturer. You will prepare SEC filings, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, and assist with quarterly and annual reporting processes.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in financial reporting or public accounting, hands-on 10-K/10-Q experience, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years in financial reporting, SEC reporting, or related field.
• Hands-on experience preparing/reviewing 10-K and 10-Q filings.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and other disclosures.
• Assist with annual and quarterly financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Ensure SEC reporting compliance and U.S. GAAP.
• Review financial results for external reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate information requests and timelines with internal stakeholders.
• Support external and internal audits with schedules and documentation.
• Conduct technical accounting research and assist with new standards.
• Maintain and enhance reporting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Support SOX compliance related to financial reporting controls.
