Job summary

SPX Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks a skilled Manager, SEC Reporting to lead the company’s SEC filings, earnings process, and external reporting. You will coordinate quarterly and annual financial statements, footnote disclosures, and interact with auditors and advisors to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

The role requires strong technical accounting skills, deep US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across finance, business units, and external audit teams in a fast-paced public

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of SEC reporting/public accounting/corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with periodic and non-periodic SEC reporting required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures for SEC filings.
• Prepare, review and present key quarterly and annual financial reporting information to senior leadership.
• Support non-periodic SEC filings and other external reporting deliverables.
• Research and document technical accounting conclusions for new and existing matters.
• Coordinate with outside advisors on pension and other reporting matters.
• Coach and develop team members involved in SEC reporting.
