Job summary

Terrestrial Energy Inc. is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager to join our Charlotte, NC finance team.

You will lead the preparation and filing of consolidated quarterly and annual SEC reports, coordinating with legal, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements. You will draft technical memos, manage complex disclosures, and partner with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects, including system implementations and due

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years total experience, including 2+ years public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and 2+ years in SEC reporting/technical accounting at a public company.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Strong writing skills with memo and footnote disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, coordination, and filing of consolidated quarterly and annual reports on Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other SEC filings.
• Coordinate with internal legal and external auditors for accuracy of filings.
• Maintain documentation and tie-outs for SOX compliance.
• Research complex accounting issues and new GAAP pronouncements.
• Draft technical accounting memos and whitepapers on complex transactions (stock-based compensation, leases, business combinations).
