Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior-level Scrum Master to join our Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role supports a large, complex program using SAFe, DevOps practices, and a strong emphasis on team collaboration.

You will coach multiple agile teams, remove impediments, facilitate PI planning, and partner with Product Owners and System Engineers to deliver value while maintaining high quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant work experience (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software/technical teams, preferably full-time.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or PMI-ACP certification.
• Significant hands-on experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rallye, IBM RTC).
• At least 5 years on a large, preferably technical program in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate self-organizing teams to meet PI commitments.
• Protect the team from scope creep during PI execution.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with Release Train Engineers on solutions.
• Help team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate.
• Coach and enforce Scrum and other process rules.
• Ensure a clear Definition of Done and how to meet it.
• Coordinate with other teams on ARTs and report status to management.
• Work with Product Owners to review and prioritize features.
• Lead SAFe ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Demos, Retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Develop User Stories with Product Owners and System Engineers to meet acceptance criteria.
• Maintain information radiators and share team metrics.
• Identify when new metrics are needed and drive improvements.
