Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science or related field; 8+ years of experience, or Master’s with 10+ years.
• In-depth experience in system architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow design, network design/implementation.
• Experience with data centers/enterprise infrastructure: servers, switches, routers, firewalls, security appliances.
• Experience with SAFe/Agile, and with requirements verification traceability; ability to work across multiple systems.
• Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support system development and implementation planning through assessment of SE plans and test plans.
• Support the development of system configuration documentation, including designs for capacity and performance planning.
• Perform risk assessments and analyses of alternatives for a variety of system related issues and concerns.
• Help create test procedures and define task success criteria.
• Provide guidance for system engineering of large-scale systems and interfacing components in a distributed network.
• Update System Engineering Documentation and provide AoA or similar evaluations.
• Interface with Program Management, System and Software Integration Engineers, Test Engineers, Information Assurance Engineers, and other project teams in an Agile environment.
• Develop and implement system engineering practices ensuring engineering rigor across tasks.
• Communicate with internal professionals and customer representatives about technical options and trade-offs.
• Actively participate in program increment planning and related Agile team activities.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to engineering teams for data gathering and auditing across data centers.
