Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to support a large-scale DISA program. The role requires leading one or more agile teams within an SAFe framework, facilitating ceremonies, and coaching teams toward agile maturity. On-site work at Fort Meade, Scott AFB, or Hill AFB is required, with a Secret clearance to start.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Daily on-site presence at Fort Meade, SCOTT AFB, or Hill AFB.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6–10 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience allowed in lieu of degree.
• Certifications: CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI-ACP.
• Experience using Jira for agile project management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Willing to train junior Scrum Masters.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate self-organizing teams to meet Program Increment commitments.
• Protect teams from scope creep during PI execution.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with Release Train Engineer or Project Manager.
• Lead SAFe ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demos, retrospectives and PI planning.
• Develop User Stories with Product Owners to meet feature acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and coach agile practices across teams.
