Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to support the Chief Engineer and Agile Coach across cloud, DevSecOps, and multi-cloud operations for the Air Force Cloud One Next program. You will guide teams through SAFe 6 and XP practices, removing impediments and driving predictable delivery.

You will mentor teams, facilitate ceremonies, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet milestones in a regulated safety-critical domain while leveraging AI-assisted tooling and DevSecOps concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior experience.
SAFe 6 Experience/ Knowledge of AI-Native SAFe.
SAFe 6 Leading SAFe certification.
SAFe 6 Scrum Master certification.
SAFe 6 DevOps certification.
Significant knowledge of DevSecOps methodology, security, and cloud environments.
Understanding of sound software development principles and practices; knowledge and experience with DevSecOps.
Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
Experience working as a Team Coach, Scrum Master within the SAFe Framework.
Experience with Kanban/Continuous Flow.
Understanding of Extreme Programming principles.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead the team in executing Continuous Flow/Kanban or planned sprint activities.
Facilitate and lead all team ceremonies using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Remove impediments related to feature development, build and dependencies.
Provide timely status, risk, and dependency reporting to management.
Help teams design, develop, document, configure, test, and debug applications across the SDLC.
Assist the Agile Coach with hybrid SAFe 6 and Extreme Programming implementation.
Help teams adopt AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, and tests.
Encourage DevSecOps principles and tooling across teams.
Mentor junior team members to meet commitments and milestones.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and delivery.
Participate in PI Planning events.
