Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to directly support the Chief Engineer and Agile Coach across technical execution, multi-cloud operations, and DevSecOps innovation for future work on the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Next contract.

As a member of a Scaled Agile software development organization, you will contribute to the technical execution of a program that integrates proven, globally deployed technologies with modern cloud-native capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years of experience.
• SAFe 6 experience and AI-Native SAFe knowledge is preferred.
• SAFe 6 Leading SAFe certification is desirable.
• SAFe 6 Scrum Master certification is required.
• SAFe 6 DevOps certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies, security, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Git or Subversion.
• Experience as a Team Coach or Scrum Master within SAFe.
• Experience with Kanban/Continuous Flow.
• Understanding of Extreme Programming principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in Continuous Flow/Kanban or planned sprint activities.
• Facilitate all team ceremonies (Refinements, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Reviews/Demos) with metrics for continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments related to feature development, builds, dependencies, and operational conflicts.
• Provide status, risk, and dependency reporting to management.
• Contribute to design, development, documentation, configuration, testing, and debugging across the SDLC.
• Assist Agile Coach with SAFe 6 and XP implementations.
• Promote AI-assisted development tools for faster coding and testing.
• Adopt and promote DevSecOps concepts and tooling.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure milestone commitments.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align and deliver.
• Lead PI Planning events.
