Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation's Schwab Technology Services is seeking a results-driven Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for large-scale Fixed Income Trading applications. You will coach teams, remove impediments, and partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and deliver business value efficiently.

This on-site role in Austin requires exceptional facilitation, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to drive metrics‑based improvement across multiple teams while upholding

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Scrum Master experience leading Agile teams.
• 3+ years supporting Fixed Income Trading applications and understanding order lifecycle.
• 2+ years leading Program Increment (PI) Planning across multiple teams.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery by establishing Scrum standards, practices, tools, and processes.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Agile events including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives, Demos, Scrum of Scrums, and team readouts.
• Drive transparency and predictability through Jira metrics, maintain tracking, reporting, and process documentation.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, fostering collaboration, accountability, prioritization, self‑organization, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners, development managers, and technical leads to support backlog refinement, capacity planning, story estimation, and delivery commitments.
• Identify, escape, and remove impediments while proactively managing dependencies and minimizing distractions that impact team delivery.
• Facilitate effective communication, stakeholder alignment, conflict resolution, and cross‑team collaboration to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
• Improve team productivity and delivery outcomes using metrics, retrospectives, and data‑driven process enhancements, ensuring each increment is potentially releasable.
