Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking an experienced Sr. Scrum Master for a 3-month engagement in Austin, TX.

The role is hybrid (4 days on site, 1 day WFH) and focuses on facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and guiding multiple scrum teams toward on-time, high-quality software releases. You will partner with product owners and stakeholders, coach teams on agile practices, and ensure consistent delivery across initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Scrum Master with 8+ years Scrum Master Experience.
Kanban experience would be a plus.
Experience using Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and maintaining Scrum Boards including feature break down to Epics, User Stories, Tasks and Subtasks.
Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values and procedures.
Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.
Experience with agile on large, technically complex projects.

Responsibilities

Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos.
Influence team to adopt and follow agile practices.
Interface with product owner and stakeholders to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
Track dependencies, risks, and communicate progress; maintain docs.
Identify and remove impediments; coach teams to self-organize.
Coordinate scrum tools and ensure release readiness.
