Serif Biomedicines in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist for Analytical Development and Quality Control. You will lead method development for nucleic acid therapeutics and LNP products, while mentoring junior colleagues in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field.
• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. with 5+ years (Ph.D.) or 12+ (M.S.) or 14+ (B.S.) of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with mRNA/DNA cargo and LNP products.
• Experience with HPLC/LC-MS and analytical method development.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff; strong written and oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead method development and qualification for nucleic acid cargo and LNP product release, stability and characterization.
• Lead experiments to optimize analytical methods for specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot assay development and instrument issues; mentor junior team members.
• Plan studies, schedule development projects, and support routine testing.
• Provide technical input for regulatory filings and author protocols/reports.
