Job summary

EMD Serono, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist to advance our lipid nanoparticle (LNP) platform. You will design and execute in vivo studies to advance lead programs within the Discovery Pharmacology Team, reporting to the Head of Delivery Pharmacology.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, or other relevant life sciences/engineering field with 2+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive hands-on rodent pharmacology experience (tail-vein injections blood collection, tissue dissections, analysis).
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing rodent in vivo studies, including design of experiments, successful execution, and final data presentation.
• Demonstrated independent project leadership working to advance drug development.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication with experience in leading projects across matrixed organizations.
