ASML US, LP is seeking a Senior Scientist – EUV Research to join a dynamic Technology Development team focused on EUV light source innovations. You will tackle droplet generation, metrology, and multi-physics modeling to push the boundaries of high-power EUV systems.

The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork across physics, materials science, and engineering, with opportunities to lead small x-competence teams and drive from feasibility to hardware implementation.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS degree with 3+ years in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, optics, or related field.
• Strong experimental data analysis and metrology experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Guide high-level architecture for droplet generation in EUV source.
• Lead design of droplet generation hardware and metrology/test capabilities up to thousands of kbar.
• Define experimental design and roadmaps to translate learning into product knowledge.
• Execute system and sub-system tests; analyze results and extract actionable insights.
• Troubleshoot droplet generation, tin delivery, and optical systems.
• Document learnings and share with engineering and product teams to guide improvements.
