Job summary

ASML is seeking a Source Research Project Lead to join the Technology Development team in the United States. The role focuses on conceiving and demonstrating technologies for next-generation EUV and DUV light sources.

You will organize the team’s tasks, conceive and test hypotheses, and plan experiments to validate scale-up and performance. You will manage resources, coordinate with controls, software, and laser scientists, and drive cross-functional collaboration with droplet generator and tin

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in physics, laser engineering, photonics or related field.
• Successful demonstration of project management and leadership over full project life-cycle.
• Strong analytical and experimental design skills.
• Experience with scientific research methods and curiosity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Hands-on experience with complex system design, build, characterization, troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead EUV light source research projects within the S-Next program and other projects.
• Align roadmaps to program objectives and execute activities.
• Create and maintain project plans, test planning and reporting.
• Contribute to Laser roadmap and portfolio execution.
• Document activities and facilitate knowledge transfer to engineering teams.
• Provide outward reporting to senior management on project progress.
• Ensure demonstrations meet technology roadmap targets.
• Identify scientific learning objectives and experimental designs for progress.
• Communicate issues and mitigate risks.
• Support Program Manager as needed.
• Manage cross-functional resources and develop campaign plans.
• Oversee triple constraint: timing, budget, resources.
