Job summary

ASML US, LP invites a Senior Scientist – EUV Research to join a dynamic Technology Development team. You will conceive and demonstrate technologies for next-generation EUV light sources, focusing on droplet generation, metrology, modeling and experiment design.

Collaboration with engineers and product teams is essential to translate findings into new product capabilities. Applicants should have a PhD or MS with extensive experience in materials, physics, optics, or related fields, plus strong

Qualifications

• PhD or MS degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge in materials, physics, optics or related fields.
• Hands-on metrology, data analysis and experiment design.

Responsibilities

• Guide development of high-level architecture for EUV droplet generation.
• Lead design of droplet generation hardware and metrology/testing capabilities.
• Contribute to roadmaps and experimental design to define design guidelines.
• Develop and execute system tests, analyze results and extract knowledge.
• Troubleshoot droplet generation, tin delivery, and optical systems.
• Build and validate droplet generator models with experimental data.
• Document learning and communicate with engineering and product teams.
• Work independently and in teams to pursue new capabilities.
