Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Scientific Informatics Lead to drive ELN and data-management solutions across discovery and chemistry functions. Translate workflows into scalable platform capabilities with ownership of requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

Strong chemistry knowledge and hands-on experience with Dotmatics or comparable platforms are essential. Role requires platform leadership, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end delivery including data integration,

Qualifications

Experience in medicinal, synthetic, process chemistry or discovery research.
Hands-on with Dotmatics Chemistry/ELN or similar platforms.
Knowledge of chemistry data capture, stoichiometry, and data traceability.
Experience gathering requirements, configuring workflows and handling releases.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery for chemistry experiments, reactions, samples and analytics.
Translate workflows into user stories, specs, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
Provide oversight for ELN configuration, testing, deployment and support.
Design experiment capture, structure management and data traceability workflows.
Coordinate integrations with compound registration, inventory and analytical systems.
Lead migration, data validation, reporting and platform upgrades.
Develop SOPs, training, release notes and operation procedures.
Ensure platform meets scientific, security and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership beyond end-user support and plan the roadmap.
