Cognizant seeks a Scientific Informatics Lead to drive chemistry-focused ELN and data management across discovery and development. You will partner with scientists, informatics specialists, and vendors to translate workflows into scalable platform capabilities.

The role requires leadership of requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and support for ELN platforms, with hands-on experience in Dotmatics or similar solutions. Strong chemistry expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong domain expertise in medicinal chemistry and related chemistry development.

Responsabilités

• Lead requirements discovery for chemistry experiments, reactions, compounds, samples, inventory management, and reporting.
• Translate chemistry workflows into user stories, specifications, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
• Provide senior oversight for ELN configuration, workflow design, and platform enhancements.
• Design and optimize workflows for experiment capture, reaction management, and inventory tracking.
• Guide integrations with compound registration systems and analytical instruments.
• Support data governance, traceability, metadata management, and reporting initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including chemists and informatics specialists.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and release notes for platform.
• Support platform modernization, migration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical and functional leadership to ELN platforms.
