Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of scheduling experience in electrical utility construction.
• Experience scheduling transmission line, substation, or distribution projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 EPPM in a cloud-hosted environment; build baselines and reports.
• Knowledge of CPM, resource loading, and schedule compression techniques.
• Experience preparing time impact analyses and delay claims in a contractor context.
• Ability to read drawings and validate schedule logic from plans.
• Strong written communication; produce defensible schedule narratives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for schedule data manipulation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 and Level 4 CPM schedules for transmission, distribution, substation, and renewables using Primavera P6.
• Build project schedules from pre-construction through closeout with procurement, permitting, ROW, and crew considerations.
• Establish and maintain scheduling baselines with project manager and owner; document scope and constraints.
• Update schedules with actual progress from field reports and logs on a regular cycle.
• Create look-ahead schedules (2/4/8 weeks) to support field crews and planning.
• Perform critical path, float, and variance analyses; identify risks before delays.
• Prepare monthly schedule narratives for internal review and owner submissions.
• Develop fragnet logic for delay claims and maintain as-built records for closeout.
• Coordinate with procurement on delivery dates for major equipment; represent SUMMIT LINE in negotiations.
