Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company based in Heber City, Utah, seeks a Junior Scheduler to support project controls across transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable energy projects in the Western U.S. You will build, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules reflecting real field conditions and contractual obligations.

Under the Project Controls Manager and Senior Scheduler, you will update schedules, prepare look-ahead milestones, and contribute to schedule recovery plans.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in construction project controls, scheduling, or related role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a construction controls/scheduling role.
• Basic CPM scheduling knowledge and schedule logic concepts.
• Foundational knowledge of Primavera P6 or ability to complete Summit Line Primavera P6 training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and large data sets.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with field personnel, PMs, and clients.
• Ability to travel up to 100% to project sites in the Western U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules reflecting field conditions and contractual obligations.
• Update schedules weekly/monthly with progress, resequencing, and look-ahead windows.
• Build activity logic in Primavera P6 and model field workflows.
• Support resource-loaded schedules aligning crew deployments with milestones.
• Prepare variance reports and two-week look-ahead schedules.
