Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead planning and scheduling for high‑voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects across the Western United States. You will work with project management, field operations, and clients to build, maintain, and analyze schedules from pre‑construction through closeout using Primavera P6.

This hands‑on role requires deep understanding of utility construction, strong CPM and scheduling optimization

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of scheduling experience in electrical utility construction or related fields.
• Experience scheduling transmission line, substation, or distribution construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (EPPM) and baseline development.
• Strong written communication for schedule narratives and owner submittals.
• Familiarity with schedule risk analysis and earned value fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 and Level 4 CPM schedules for complex projects using Primavera P6.
• Create and manage look-ahead schedules (2-, 4-, 8-week) to support field planning.
• Perform critical path, float, and schedule variance analyses; prepare narratives for owners/engineers.
• Support time impact analyses (TIAs) and delay claims with robust documentation.
• Coordinate with project controls, procurement, and field teams to align schedule with cost and resource loading.
