Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead planning for large electrical utility projects across the Western U.S. The role centers on developing and maintaining detailed CPM schedules, coordinating with project teams and owners, and producing thorough weekly and monthly reports.

The position requires deep hands-on experience with Primavera P6, strong knowledge of CPM methods, and the ability to model schedule recovery options under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of scheduling experience in electrical utility construction or related sectors.
• Demonstrated experience scheduling transmission, substation, or distribution projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills, including baselines, constraints, and custom reports.
• Experience preparing time impact analyses and supporting delay claims.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 and Level 4 CPM schedules for transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable projects using Primavera P6.
• Create and manage look-ahead schedules (2- to 8-week) to aid field planning and supervision.
• Perform critical path, float, and variance analyses to identify risks and delays.
• Prepare monthly schedule narratives for internal controls review and for owners/engineers of record.
• Develop schedule recovery plans and fragnet logic for owner-directed changes.
• Coordinate with procurement and cost control to align schedule with budgets and material deliveries.
