Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead planning and scheduling for major electrical utility projects across the Western U.S. You will collaborate with project management, field operations, and clients to build and maintain schedules from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Primavera P6, CPM methods, and earned value practices, with a focus on real-world utility execution and tight baselining.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in scheduling for electrical utility construction, heavy civil, or power delivery infrastructure.
• Experience scheduling transmission, distribution, or substation construction projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 EPPM in cloud environments; build baselines and generate reports.
• Knowledge of CPM, schedule compression, and earned value fundamentals.
• Ability to read construction drawings and interpret project specs for schedule logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 and 4 CPM schedules for complex projects using Primavera P6.
• Create and maintain look-ahead schedules (2, 4, 8 weeks) for field planning.
• Perform critical path analysis, float monitoring, and schedule variance reviews.
• Prepare narratives and support time impact analyses and delay claims.
• Coordinate with cost control, procurement, and project management to align schedules.
