Job summary

Summit Line Construction is a full-service electrical utility contractor delivering transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable energy projects across the Western United States. The Senior Scheduler leads planning and scheduling, collaborating with project management, field operations, and clients to build, maintain, and analyze schedules from pre-construction through closeout.

This office-based role in Heber City, Utah requires deep knowledge of Primavera P6, CPM, and EVM concepts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years scheduling experience in electrical utility construction or related heavy civil work.
• Experience scheduling transmission line, substation, or distribution construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 in a cloud-hosted environment and baseline management.
• Knowledge of CPM, resource loading, schedule compression, and earned value fundamentals.
• Experience with time impact analyses and delay claims in a contractor setting.
• Ability to read drawings and validate schedule logic.
• Strong written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 and Level 4 CPM schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create pre-construction schedules with procurement lead times and constraints.
• Establish baselines with project manager and owner; maintain and update schedules.
• Produce look-ahead schedules (2/4/8 weeks) for field planning.
• Conduct critical path, float, and variance analysis; prepare narrative reports.
• Support delay claims with fragnet logic and schedule analysis.
