Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Junior Scheduler to support project controls across Western U.S. transmission, distribution, substations, and renewables.

You will help build, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules reflecting field realities and contractual obligations. The role requires 1–3 years in construction scheduling, a related degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in construction project controls, scheduling, or related role.
• CPM scheduling knowledge and schedule logic concepts.
• Basic Primavera P6 knowledge or ability to complete training.
• Excel proficiency and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract docs.
• Willingness to travel across the Western U.S. up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline schedules using CPM logic for transmission and distribution work.
• Update schedules weekly and monthly reflecting progress and look-ahead windows.
• Build logic in Primavera P6 linking predecessors and successors.
• Support resource-loaded schedules and alignment with milestones and labor hours.
• Prepare schedule narratives and two-week look-ahead reports for reviews.
